Headwind Day

Had good breakfast this morning and started our 165km chellenge late at 9:30am. Weather was good with temperature from 12oC growing to 20oC later this day.

We came through very nice small towns with castles and big churches. Fields were very nice with all kinds of different flowers.

Huge problem is the rain and many areas are flooded. When we came to the Loire area, cycle pathes were completely under water.

The area around Blois is known for all the very beautiful castles like Chenenceau, Chambord, Amboise and others.

Alois found a fantastic camping place directly at the Loire river and close to Blois. We decided to have our first free day tomorrow. Plan is to clean Frank and our clothes in the morning and visit Blois during the afternoon.

Thanks to Klaus and Stefan driving in front of me and covering the strong headwind !! 👍👍👍

One last item to report: we had another touchdown with no injuries.... and helped an old man over the wall due to a flooded path.

Liked the Snack Dinner on our camping site.

Alois did 60km and cycled along the Loire.

Stefan is starting to look a bit rough. Glad no accidents and food looks good as always. Have fun!

    1. PSG ist doch raus. Da muss man ja eher nach Dortmund! Wer will da schon zum Verlierer?
